Radio Coverage in Grand Rapids
As of Friday, 3pm, WGRD had already played a track from the cd.  They have
begun advertising for the September 25th show @ the Family tavern
during the Morning Drive.  You can win tickets and a cd (and apparently a
picture) by listening either on the radio or on the web @ http://www.wgrd.com
WGRD will also begin rotating one of the songs on the cd during each show in
the day.  Rock and Roll!  We'd like to thank J & J Entertainment for the hard
work.  You may now call in (1-800-WGRD-979)or email the studio-line
(mailto:studio@wgrd.com) to request a song from the disc.  You do not have to
be in-state to request if you're listening @ http://www.wgrd.com

Lake FX Radio is continuing to rotate Jason daily.  Thank you to all of you who
have put messages on the Lake FX Message Board. There are some awesome posts
from New York all the way to Oregon. Their is also a personal thank you from
Jason up.  Please continue to post, it is great to read what you have written.
Listen to Lake FX radio on the web.  You can listen and add to the message
board @ http://LakeFXRadio.com

Newbies
Welcome to all who are new to the list.  Jason continually tries to send a
personal message to each person who is added to the email list.  Because of the
number of people signing up at each venue, this is becoming increasingly
difficult.  But thank you so much for joining up.  Without you, this would not
be possible.

Merchandise
T-Shirts are now available at each live show for $12.  A copy of the DVD from
Jason's show and interview with GRTV will also be available soon.

Personal Emails
Thank you for all the personal emails that have come in regarding
questions on cancellations, life after a steady paycheck, and general
friendship-type stuff.  All of your emails will be returned.  If you have not
recieved a response, we apologize.  You may have been the one we missed.  It is
the personal emails that keep AfterNine alive when shows cancel or things don't
go quite the way they were supposed to.

Agent
Big thanks to J & J Entertainment for everything.  J & J Entertainment focuses
on bringing acts to the college market, but has also gotten Jason shows at
CBGB's in New York and radio play in the college venues including here in west
Michigan @ WGRD.

Website
The website is awaiting pictures from New York, Chicago and Grand Rapids as
well as some new songs.  At this time, though, website maintenance is being
researsched as AfterNine switches from PC to Mac.  Rest assurred, our "tech
guy" is on it.

Song Spotlight
Wish You Were Healthy (Written August 2003)

Not another wasted wonder will I bleed
Not another calloused cloud will cross me
Not another cherri-ed heart will I pluck from it's stem

No more exchanging claws on the telephone
Not another rotation of your third wheel
Not another street sign misread
Flying by on the side of the road

I take the pictures off the wall.
I burn the letters in the hall.
I break the Idols, I will break them all.

Your party's at 4 but I'm a prisoner by breakfast
Can't leave the house just get my buzz
I know it's your birthday but I be back in time
To kiss your lips and swallow my tongue

You throw like a girl. And I love you baby
But I didn't know you'd be throwing your boots
Is this good for you and your life, baby?
Cause it ain't healthy for me.

I take the pictures off the wall.
I burn the letters in the hall.
I break the idols, I will break them all.

Excerpt from Jason
"While burning letter from an ex-lover (a practice for which my father would
surely scorn), this song rose up.  This song is about control.  The idea that,
"You did this to me," or "You made me do it," is bull.  I cannot control
anyone, nor can anyone control me, unless I allow it (which has happened in the
past).   I understand advice, but if one gets upset with me because I have made
a choice, the problem truly is not mine it is theirs.  Even so, in all of the
boot throwing, crying, leaving, coming back and leaving again, there was a
great amount of passion, deepness and emotion, but each of us needs to make
choices on what we will accept and what we will not.  And the greatest lesson I
learned from this one relationship (of which I miss the healthy parts,
sometimes) is that I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HOW ANOTHER PERSON FEELS OR ACTS.
Final word:  Be responsible for yourself.  Be respectful of others."

That's it.
   That's the AfterLife
