You have recieved the AfterLife: the life of AfterNine and JAsoN elLeR.
The AfterLife is about showing the public the journey of a musician; the good, the bad and the cancelled shows. This is not about hype. It is not about exaggerated claims in hopes of getting patrons to frequent bars. It's about the music. It's about the journey, and you are in it. Some choose to follow for the fun. Some choose to follow for the music. You choose. But in the end, it's all about being who you are and giving what you can.
This Month brings the debut of original music to Jason's Diesel-Fueled Acoustic shows; with titles like "Loosing Letters", "Three Days in Hell", "Million in One" and "Trailer Jewel".
The two newest developments:
1) 14 contacts have been made with some of Chicago's finest spots for live original music. Because this is not hype, you will be kept up to date on how these calls pan out. Some hits have been positive conversation, others, "Send us a demo". And demos will be sent.
2) A contract has been laid in front of Jason to play colleges around the country this summer. Jason has rewritten the contract and handed it back to the agent, and now waits for a reply. The waiting game is tough to play sometimes. Is it going to lead to something? Nothing to do, but wait and see. Again, not hype, just the truth. We do not hold our breath.....but sometime we breath real slowly when we think about it.
You will be kept informed of opportinities that come to light, and thoses that fade into the pocket book of experiences that make us who we are.
On April 1 Jason will make his debut premier at the Sparta Pub! The buzz has begun. This tiny pub is the buzz of Sparta. You want to meet real people who will tell you your pants are too small? This is the place. The friendliest place in Sparta. It will take abot 12.4 seconds to make new friends that will remember the next time you come in.
